Steve Namiotka and his daughter, Maigan, were looking for assistance in developing an online presence for the launch of their new "Golden Laces" line of shoelaces for athletes. The website would need to have a fully custom look and feel, and would need to have functionality that allowed people to purchase their products online and also feel like they were part of a community.

The Sharp Innovations team worked with Steve and Maigan to improve upon the pre-existing Golden Laces look and feel through the design of the new website (and later, through associated sales materials). In addition, the team developed online shopping functionality that included full user administration capabilities, so products could be added and removed at will. To increase user activity and involvement with the brand online, the Sharp team also added a "Hall of Fame" that allowed purchasers of Golden Laces to enter information about their accomplishments for all the world to see. The Namiotka's venture is just getting off the ground, but they now have a solid foundation from which to grow their business.
