Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company was looking to take advantage of the Internet for increased sales, improved product distribution and sales contact management, and to create a competitive brand presence.

The team at Sharp Innovations worked with the president and key management personnel of Saf-Gard to develop a new site that would transform their static, non-competitive web presence into an industry-leading online solution. The Sharp design team created a brand-new look for the Saf-Gard site, incorporating Flash animation that dynamically pulled data from a product database to a featured-product showcase on the homepage. On the back end, the Sharp programming team created an e-commerce infrastructure that allowed Saf-Gard to provide their key accounts with a custom store interface quickly and efficiently. In addition, a custom distribution management system and extensive contact database administrator were put in place to provide improvements in other areas of Saf-Gard's business. Search Engine Optimization was put to work to increase online sales, and the results have been worth the effort. Saf-Gard has worked with Sharp Innovations for over 5 years, and is currently in the process of developing an online presence for a new brand of footwear: SR Max.
