AI Integration Services

AI integration built for what's next

AI that does real work

Put AI to work on the jobs that eat up your week

Most businesses have tried a chatbot by now. Very few have AI that knows their products, follows their rules and saves their staff real hours. That's the part we build.

Sharp Innovations is an artificial intelligence development company in Lancaster County, PA. Our AI integration specialists connect AI models like Claude and ChatGPT to your website, your data and the tools your team already uses. Then we put guardrails around it, so it stays accurate, private and on budget.

  • Works with any major AI provider
  • Your data stays yours
  • People approve what matters
  • Costs you can predict
What goes into it

What makes business AI dependable

You don't need to know the technical names. Here's what each piece of a typical build does for you, with the term we use in case you hear it from us.

Keeps AI inside the lines

The AI can only use the tools you allow, stays within limits you set, and checks with a person before anything risky, like sending an email or changing a price.

Agent harness and guardrails

Works inside the software you already have

An assistant can look up an order, update a record or pull a report right in your systems, instead of someone copying and pasting between screens.

MCP connections

The right AI for each job

Quick questions go to a fast, low-cost model and harder ones to a stronger one. Private data can stay on a model running on your own hardware. You only pay for what each job needs.

Model routing

Answers from your facts

We load your documents, policies and product details so answers come from your business, not the open internet, with a link to the source so anyone can double-check.

Semantic search and vector databases

Information that moves on its own

When a form comes in or an order ships, your website, CRM, payment tools and AI pass the details along, no retyping required.

APIs, webhooks and workflow automation

Shows up where your team already works

Websites, customer portals, staff dashboards and phones. No extra app to log into.

Front-end integration
AI integration services

What we can build for you

Start with one of these or combine a few. Our generative AI integration services cover everything from a single AI integration on your website to custom AI development, and every build is shaped around how your business actually runs.

AI search for your site

Visitors type what they want in plain English ("something I can finish in under an hour") and get the right results, even with typos or industry shorthand. Private pages stay private.

AI assistants and chatbots

A website assistant that answers customers around the clock from your approved content, and a staff assistant that searches your own records and documents and shows where each answer came from.

Workflow automation

When a form comes in, an order ships or a date passes, things just happen: records update, the right person gets an email, text or push alert, and other systems hear about it.

Connect AI to your systems

We give AI tools safe, limited access to your website and business data through APIs, MCP and secure sign-in, so an assistant can do the task, not just describe it.

AI-ready websites

New sites and redesigns built so search engines and AI answer tools can read them, with structured data, llms.txt and fast, accessible pages.

Advanced

Custom AI agents

AI that carries out multi-step work on its own (research, data cleanup, reports, code changes) while your team supervises and signs off.

Case study

An AI course finder for a healthcare education provider

A continuing-education company for doctors, nurses and pharmacists had a growing catalog of accredited courses, podcasts and live events. Busy clinicians couldn't find what they needed. Keyword search missed medical abbreviations, typos and simple requests like "a half-hour course on COPD."

We built a search assistant that understands what people mean. A clinician types a request in plain words and gets a short answer plus matching courses, each with a line explaining why it fits. Courses they've already finished drop out of the list.

Accuracy and cost were the priority, so we set strict rules:

  • Plain code handles the facts first: course format, credit time and medical shorthand. Many searches never need AI at all.
  • Every link comes from the real catalog. If the AI suggests a course that doesn't exist, it's thrown out.
  • The catalog refreshes every hour, and a bad update never replaces the last good one.
  • A test suite checks answer quality before every change goes live.

What it means for the business

1AI call per search, at most. Most searches need none, so costs stay flat as traffic grows.
HourlyNew courses show up on their own. No extra work for staff, and no changes to the system they already use.
$0 to $30Expected monthly AI bill. A hard daily cap means a busy week can't turn into a surprise invoice.
0Made-up courses shown to learners. Clinicians can trust every result, which protects the brand they pay for.

AI agents that keep working while you're away

Some jobs need more than a chat window. We've built a system where AI agents work on an office computer, on real files and real systems, while one person directs and supervises everything from a phone.

  • Hand off a task from anywhere, watch it run live, and get a push alert when it's done
  • Risky steps wait for your tap to approve, and read-only or ask-first modes are one switch away
  • Choose Claude, OpenAI or a private AI model that never leaves your building
  • No open network ports and no shared logins. Each phone has its own access that you can revoke instantly
  • It restarts itself after outages and runs on infrastructure that costs next to nothing

If your team spends hours on repeatable computer work, let's talk about what an agent could take off their plate.

Enterprise and regulated industries

Need tighter security? Match your AI to your data

Not every job belongs in a public chatbot. Healthcare, legal, finance and larger companies often handle information that shouldn't leave their own systems. We help you decide which AI tools fit which data, then set them up that way.

Cloud AI

Public information

Published web pages, marketing ideas, general research.

A good fitMainstream tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, with sensible settings and a person checking the results.

Business cloud

Internal business data

Everyday email, internal processes, reports and planning documents.

A good fitBusiness or enterprise AI accounts with admin controls, a data privacy agreement and model training turned off.

Your hardware

Sensitive and regulated data

Customer records, health or financial details, legal files, source code and trade secrets.

A good fitPrivate AI models that run on your own servers or office computers, such as open models like Llama, Mistral or Qwen in LM Studio or Ollama, or private APIs that don't keep your data.

We'll help you build an AI plan that fits your real needs, at any level:

  • Write an AI usage policy your team can follow: which tools are allowed, for which kinds of data, and who approves new ones
  • Keep an approved tool list, so staff aren't signing up for unknown AI apps with their work email
  • Set up private AI on your own hardware with tools like LM Studio or Ollama, offline if needed, and check that the apps and connectors around it don't quietly send your data somewhere else
  • Mark the work that stays human, like final advice to clients and legal, medical or financial decisions
  • Train your team and revisit the plan as tools and regulations change

Straight talk about AI security

No setup makes a system risk-free, and we won't pretend otherwise. Private models are also usually less capable than the biggest cloud models, so there are tradeoffs to weigh.

What we can do is help you understand those tradeoffs and choose the right level of protection for your industry, your data and your budget, whether you're a five-person office or a large enterprise.

How we work

Our rules for business AI

AI is only useful if you can trust it. These are the rules we build by.

  1. Code first, AI second

If a rule can be written as plain code, it should be. We save AI for the parts that need judgment. That keeps answers accurate and bills small.

  2. People sign off on what matters

An AI can draft a form, a workflow or a change. A person publishes it. Every action is logged, so you can see who (or which AI) did what and when.

  3. Your data stays yours

API keys never reach the browser. Public assistants can only see public content, by design. We pick providers and settings that don't train on your data.

  4. No lock-in to one AI company

Models change fast. We build so you can switch providers, or run a private model, without rebuilding everything.

  5. Costs you can predict

Caching, rate limits and daily spending caps are part of the build, not an afterthought.

  6. Measured, not guessed

We test AI answers against real questions before launch and track what people search for after, so you know it's working.

Getting started

From first idea to AI that pays for itself

  1. 1

    Find the right job

We look at where your team loses time and pick the task where AI will make the biggest difference.

  2. 2

    Prove it small

A focused pilot on your real data, so you see results before you commit to a bigger build.

  3. 3

    Build and connect

We wire it into your website and systems, add the guardrails and train your team.

  4. 4

    Measure and grow

We watch accuracy, usage and cost, tune what needs tuning, and add the next job when you're ready.

Cost estimator

What would AI cost to run each month?

For most businesses, we can keep AI running costs under $100 a month. Plug in a few numbers for a rough idea of yours.

Website visitors, customers or staff
How often each person uses it in a month

Which AI models?
Estimated AI running cost $10 to $30

A rough planning number for AI usage only, not the cost of the build. Some providers include a free daily allowance, so light use can cost nothing at all. Your real cost depends on your needs, how complex the build is and how much it gets used. We'll give you a real estimate before you commit.

FAQ

AI integration questions we hear a lot

  • Which AI models do you work with?

Claude, ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini, Mistral, open models like Meta Llama and private models that run on your own hardware, among others. We recommend a model for each job based on cost, speed, accuracy and privacy, and we build so you can switch later.

  • Will the AI make things up about my business?

That’s the biggest risk with AI, so we design against it. Answers come from your own content, links come from your real records, and anything the AI can’t back up gets dropped. For important actions, a person approves before anything goes live.

  • Is my data used to train AI models?

We set things up so it isn’t. Your keys stay on the server, public assistants only see public content, and we choose providers and settings that don’t train on your data. If your data can’t leave the building, a private model is an option.

  • Can we run AI on our own servers instead of the cloud?

Yes. Open AI models such as Llama, Mistral or Qwen can run on your own servers or office computers with tools like LM Studio or Ollama, so prompts and files can stay inside your network. They’re usually less capable than the largest cloud models, so we help you decide which jobs they suit, and we set up the software around them so your data isn’t sent anywhere else.

  • Do I need a new website to add AI?

No. We often add AI search or an assistant to an existing site with a small script and a secure data feed. If your site is older or hard for AI tools to read, a rebuild can help, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth it.

  • What does AI cost to run each month?

For most businesses, we can keep AI running costs under $100 a month. The real number depends on what you need, how complex the build is and how much it gets used. Plain code handles most of the work, so the AI only runs when it adds value, and a daily spending cap keeps surprises away. We’ll estimate your running costs before you commit.

  • How do we get started?
